Hello everyone, my name is Salma. I currently live in the UK, but my extended family are in Gaza. I have over 100 family members there, with several families in urgent need of help during this incredibly difficult time.

Among them are 45 orphaned children in my extended family who have lost one or both of their parents during the genocide. When you swipe through the photos, you’ll see their smiles, their hopes, and their dreams. But right now, their only dream is just to get a loaf of bread so they can survive.Their little bodies have already been through so much at such a young age, but hunger and starvation are a whole different kind of suffering they’re facing now. They don’t deserve this. No one does. I just want them to have a future and a chance at life, just like I did.

They all live in tents with little access to resources, worsened by the blockade in. In the winter, they endure freezing temperatures in their tents, and in the summer, the scorching heat burns their skin. Flies and insects infest them, causing skin diseases as they feed on their skin. This is just a small snippet of their suffering in their every day life.

In times like these, it often feels like we can’t do much on our own, but I’m relying on the support of our community. Donations, no matter how small, can make a powerful difference in easing my family’s suffering. Your support can help save lives and bring hope to those who need it most.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your kindness and generosity.

With your donations, we have been able to cook and distribute warm meals like spiced rice with chickpeas and vegetable broth, simple, filling food that keeps people going in the most difficult conditions. These meals are cooked over open fires with whatever ingredients we can find and shared among families who have endured months of hunger.

Prices for food in Gaza have dropped in the last few days. This is the most crucial time to donate so people can afford buying food and ration it before prices go up again. Gaza is the hungriest place in the world right now, and you can make a difference.

Every single contribution helps us buy ingredients, prepare meals, and ensure families have food for the days ahead. Please don’t wait, food prices could rise at any moment.

Thank you for standing with Gaza during this time. Your support is saving lives.

Thanks to your donations, my family in Gaza were able to make maamoul (date-filled cookies) and share them, along with other meals, with over 25 of our relatives from different families in the past few days.

I have been feeling so helpless and worried sick about my loved ones, but knowing that your generosity is putting food on their tables has genuinely lifted some of that weight. In the middle of a genocide, these moments of seeing my family smile and knowing we are feeding people are what community is all about. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Salma

Here are some photos of my orphaned cousins in Gaza enjoying a Palestinian dish, Mojadara, made possible by your donations. The prices are extremely high and they had to spend lots of money for little amounts of food. Please continue to support them and donate
